Extreme Rainfall in North Kent 10th June 2019
Every now and again, June can produce some very cold wet days in the South East of England (and the rest of the UK).
The overnight minimum temperature in Meopham at 9am 10/Jun/19 was 10.2c. However, as the day progressed and the rain continued to fall, the tempearture hovered around 9c most of the day. At 2.36pm , the temperature fell to a chilly 9.3c. The maximum temperature that day wasnt reached until 8.59pm with 11.7c

A very cold and wet day in the Meopham area. The rain was non stop and became heavy and persistant all afternoon and evening. A weather station West Kingsdown recorded a stagering 132.08mm of rain. In order to verify this reading, another weather station in West Kingsdown recorded 122.43mm
